What? Where? How?
The St. Petersburg Science Festival is an annual regional celebration where families and the public can explore the wonders of hands-on science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM).
We had a fantastic 2024 Festival! Thank you to everyone – sponsors, volunteers, exhibitors, and the steering committee!
Over 1,000 students attended our Sneak Peek School Day (Feb 9th) and over 12,000 visitors joined us for the Public Festival (Feb 10th). We are looking at school calendars to select the 2025 Festival dates – stay tuned. We hope to announce by early summer.
The Festival is located each year at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus and Poytner Park – along the waterfront. It is held in conjunction with MarineQuest, the open house of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute. The two events happen side-by-side and attendees are able to walk from one to the other.
